SAI Cocopeat has a repulation for providing 100% natural and organic coir products to the horticulture industry. In order to guarantee a premium quality product whilst ensuring delivery targets, a continous and ample supply of coir pith is required. This is why we have based our factory in the heart of the coconut triangle region of India. Our factory’s proximity to some of the largest coco mills in the country gurantees that we are in an ideal position to offer a consistent supplyto our customers.
Having Three Decades of long experience in the coconut trading covering almost all states in Northern India from the year 1979, Our sister group companies namely SAI COCONUTS and SKAA VILAS are among the major suppliers / sellers of fresh coconuts all over India and have around 500 potential buyers in our sale network.Our average per year sale of fresh coconut is 2,08,54,890 ( Two crores eight lakhs fifty four thousand eight hundred and ninety only ) nuts ( 57,137 nuts per day ).
We have gained a strong background with wide spread base of resources and infrastructure facilities to achieve our goals in making various coconut by-products.From the year 1992 onwards, past 13 years one of our SAI Group company namely SAISIVAA INDUSTRIES AND SIVA TRADERS is producing CURLED COIR from coconut husk 100% machine twisted natural coir fibre having a commanding market base with major Rubberized Mattress producing factories in India. Our average per year curled coir production is 9 metric tones ( 9000 kg per day ).
Quality control: Our team of quality controller’s work with common procedures on all our production sites, checks are made throughout the manufacturing process right up to dispatch. To ensure production homogeneity each site has a laboratory that carries out regular tests throughout the production process. In addition samples are taken of the products sent in order to ensure good product evolution.Manufacturing process: SAI COCOPEAT is a neutral medium, without processing or addition of chemicals, easily recyclable composed solely of material that has undergone no chemical treatment
Raw materials must undergo a certain number of processes:Washing: For substrate requiring a low conductivity. Drying: To be compacted, our substrate must have a precise humidity rate. Sifting: For all Natural, Duo, Air and cocochips substrates. Sorting: All materials are stocked according to their rate of humidity and their level of conductivity. For the development of our substrate we take one or several of these materials to achieve a homogeneous mixture that will be compacted to be dispatched.RAW Materials: 100% natural, the raw materials come from the husk (mesocarp) surrounding the coconut, for our substrate we only use husks that guarantee a good stability of material.
